Professor Jahnel isn’t just playing games!

Professor Jahnel from the history department has just had his paper “Why is my Elf Gay? It’s Batman’s Fault: Examining the historical models of ‘The Other’ in Comic Books and other static visual media and their predictive ability and limits for interactive game entertainment.” accepted at the Queerness and Games Conference at UC Berkeley.  This exciting conference is sponsored by the Center for New Media and will feature interdisciplinary scholars from various colleges and universities.  Congratulations, this really sounds exciting!  Bill also promised me a photo post-presentation, so keep an eye out for that!  It may or may not be an avatar.
