Professor/Librarian Tamara Weintraub created a 5-minute training video on the Library’s ScienceDirect online journal article database. Created for Palomar’s STEM Center faculty and tutors to promote awareness of and access to this key scholarly research tool, the video discusses applications for Palomar STEM students and basic search strategies. The video was constructed using Powerpoint and Captivate software, and is available at http://www.palomar.edu/library/videos/sciencedirect.htm. It is an extremely creative teaching method that is a really valuable tool for faculty! Well done Tamara!
